Copal resin is traditionally burned during all Maya ceremonies to enliven and create a peaceful atmosphere, as well as to "smoke out" any negativity. It is burned throughout temples and in homes on any spiritual occasion, from childbirth to greeting the morning sun to the sacred Mayan Primicia ceremony. Copal smoke's pure aroma and cannaboids always lift my and my clients' spirits after fearful news, accidents, or losses.  This freshly dried copal is directly sourced via my dear friend, a native Belizean.
